As we reported an hour ago, FAM today invited banned referee Arthur Chilimba to Blantyre.

When our journalist called Chilimba minutes ago to explain what he discussed with FAM, Chilimba said “it was private” and refused to give details.

When we asked more questions, Chilimba said “meeting yayenda bwino.”

He is now returning to Lilongwe. Yesterday the Grade One referee told journalists that he will hold a press conference this Friday where he will expose club officials and referees who are involved in match fixing.

It is doubtful if the Friday meeting will proceed.
