They are Malawi soldiers, trained to protect the country and proved it at Kamuzu Stadium when they defeated Mighty Mukuru Wanderers handing coach Meck Mwase his first defeat since he took charge of the team on May 27 this year.
A 95 minute goal from substitute Luke Chima made the difference when he headed home the beauty from the corner kick denying Nomads a point.
Just after he scored, referee Mwayi Msungawa did not take long but to blow the whistle marking the end of the match with the Kaning’ina soldiers returning home with maximum points from Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre.
Mwase was frustrated with his boys as they missed a number of scoring opportunities.
Two clear chances missed by Gaddie Chirwa in the first and second half, one missed by Thierry Sama, two by Christopher Kumwembe were enough to win the game but they could not utilise them.
Moyale, who only created five scoring opportunities made use of them in the first half when Emmanuel Allan scored first at the 40 minutes when he was put through in the box after a defensive lapse.
He made no mistake but to send a rocket to the roof of the net giving no chance to goalkeeper Richard Chipuwa.
Isaac Kaliati levelled at 92 minutes when his free kick at the edge of the penalty box went into the net giving hope to Nomads fans to go home with a point not knowing Chima had another mind.
Pritchared Mwansa was happy with full points as his side is coming from two back to back defeats while Mwase said it was a bad day in the office as chances were missed.
