ZATHAPO? Rookies Friends of Mulanje Orphans (FOMO) football club has taken a temporary measure in suspending its coaches, Wa Ganyu here to confirm.

We understand that the team has told head coach Gilbert Chirwa and his assistant Luckson Nyoni not to take charge in the Sunday’s away league match against Premier Bet Dedza Dynamos in Dedza.

A source told Wa Ganyu this evening that Chirwa and Nyoni were called by team’s executive members to look at the current poor performance of the Mulanje based side team.

FOMO is third from bottom on the TNM Super League log table with just 4 wins in 17 games. They have only managed to collect 15 points.

The team’s general secretary, Jimmy Maloya, confirmed that the two will not be in charge of the Sunday’s game.

“I can confirm that the two coaches will not be in charge on Sunday. This is not a suspension, we are still in talks over the team’s current performance,” said Maloya.
