At 77 minutes, there was a bottle of water inside Mzuzu City Hammers penalty area.
The goalkeeper Chancy Mtete refused to remove it and called referee Godfrey Nkhakananga to see the bottle.
Then Bullets striker Babatunde Adepoju kicked the bottle out calling Mtete to restart play as Bullets had no time to delay the match.
As Mtete was about to play a goal kick, the ball boy came on the touchline and took the bottle before pouring the water near the net, a thing which angered Nkhakananga and he went there to chase him.
A steward came closer to take the boy out.
The match ended 4-1 in favour of Mzuzu City Hammers on penalties after regulation time ended goalless.
Hammers are in the Castel Challenge Cup final and will meet Mighty Mukuru Wanderers.
