Wa Ganyu Here To Confirm!
It never rains but it pours for FCB Nyasa Big Bullets as a storm over continued to hit the side with their Reserve coach Enos Chatama becoming the latest name to jump off the ship and is on the verge of joining Ekhaya FC.
A Wa Ganyu call to Chatama was successful, but he said he knew nothing about this news. “I am not aware of that, so I cannot comment much,” he said.
But Wa Ganyu investigation has the whole information that Chatama will be joining Ekhaya today, Monday 13th January 2025 where a contract will be signed.
How it has quickly happened!
Chatama had hoped of taking charge of Bullets senior team following the departure of head coach Kalisto Pasuwa as per a source from Bullets.
In turn of events, Bullets roped in Peter Mponda, who had recommended Chatama’s name to Bullets management to be his assistant, but Chatama was hesitant, a source told Wa Ganyu.
When Chatama was guessing of his next move, Mzuzu City Hammers had approached him but he gave them a cold shoulder.
Hammers offered him around K800 000 as salary.
Last week, Ekhaya approached Chatama and he was so excited to see that he will be getting around K4 million salary alone plus some benefits.
Our source told us that Chatama will sign a deal with Ekhaya today but he will not be unveiled yet on reasons which Wa Ganyu will not disclose for now.
Since Wednesday last week, Chatama has been busy approaching players to join Ekhaya. Some of which are in the Super League, including big clubs, while others are from the Reserve side.
“Yes, he told me that I should join Ekhaya. I was wondering why I should join Ekhaya when he is with Bullets Reserve. He said he is joining Ekhaya as head coach,” said a player when talking to Wa Ganyu.
