Wa Ganyu can finally confirm that three Zimbabwean players who joined FCB Nyasa Big Bullets in the 2024 season will not return to Malawi.
These are defender Colin Mujuru, who has joined Green Fuel FC in Zimbabwe, striker Ronald Chitiyo, and midfielder Kenneth Pasuwa
What we have gathered is that the 26-year-old Mujuru wrote Bullets just a day after his wedding in Zimbabwe that he will not return to Malawi.
The letter emphasized why it will be difficult to stay in Malawi when his wife is in Zimbabwe . He also narrated other commitments that will need him to be in his home country .
Bullets allowed him to go despite his contract with the club running until March 2026.
On Chitiyo…
A source said Bullets already made plans to release the 31-year-old striker following his average performance at the club, nothing much from him apart from enjoying facing rivals Mighty Mukuru Wanderers.
Chitiyo had also signed a 3-year deal, which will end in April 2026. He is not returning to Bullets as he is not in Peter Mponda’s plans.
On Kenneth Pasuwa…
Kalisto’s son left Malawi together with his dad. He is home with his parents and sisters. His next step will be decided by the progress of his dad.
Mponda does not have Kenneth in his plans . His contract with Bullets has come to an end.
On Friday afternoon, Bullets announced the release of Mujuru, Felix Dimakude, Kesten Simbi, Matthews Masamba, Mphatso Magaleta, Precious Phiri, Thomson Magombo, Chitiyo and Kenneth Pasuwa.
