Creck Sporting Club 1-4 Dedza Dynamos

Creck Sporting Club coach Joseph Kamwendo has acknowledged that his team is not performing at its best after their disappointing 4-1 loss to Dedza Dynamos in the opening match of the 2025 TNM Super League season at Champion Stadium in Dowa.

We know Dedza is a strong team, and they deserved the win today,” said Kamwendo. “They started the game strongly and were the better team while we struggled to match their intensity.

The match got off to a fast start, with Dedza Dynamos taking the lead just 48 seconds into the game. A well-timed pass from Khumbo Banda found Bright Masebo, who slotted the ball home to put the visitors ahead 1-0. The first half ended with Dedza Dynamos maintaining their slender lead.

The second half saw some pressure from the home team and it was striker George Chaomba who levelled the matters in the 47th minute. His goal was not enough as the visitors hammered again with Aggry Msowoya and then Chifuniro Mpinganjira before Marko Chiwaya with a last nail to seal their 4-1 victory.

Otchaya Okot of Premier Bet Dedza Dynamos was named Man of the Match.

Dedza coach Andrew Bunya was a happy man.

That early goal was crucial. It gave us the energy to continue pushing forward throughout the game,” he said.
