Malawi striker Babatunde Adepoju has today signed for Clube de Desportos da Costa do Sol, a Mozambican top side, Wa Ganyu can confirm. 

This follows the player’s refusal to extend his deal with Venda Football Academy (VFA) in South Africa’s second tier.

His three and half year contract with Venda ended on June 30, 2026, and he was on the verge of extending his stay in Motsepe Foundation Championship before his change of mind

Adepoju has been in the country for a month now, and reports have been circulating that the Nigeria born striker will return to his former club FCB Nyasa Big Bullets where he made history by scoring over 60 goals.

But WaGanyu can confirm that Adepoju is now learning Portuguese and ready to bang in goals and make more history in neighbouring Mozambique.
