Wa Ganyu can comfortably confirm that Fifa has lifted FCB Nyasa Big Bullets transfer ban which stopped them from registering players.
A letter copied to Ronald Chitiyo and Football Association of Malawi (FAM) signed by Fifa’s head of disciplinary, AmΓ©rico Espallargas has confirmed that Bullets is now at liberty to register new players.
β€œWe refer to the abovementioned matter and acknowledge receipt of the correspondence filed by Ronald Chitiyo (the Creditor), a copy of which is available in the FIFA Legal Portal.

β€œWe take note from the mentioned correspondence that the Creditor has received the amounts due by FCB NYASA BIG BULLETS (the Respondent) in accordance with the decision passed by a body, a committee, a subsidiary or an instance of FIFA or the Court of Arbitration for Sport as described in these proceedings.

β€œAs a consequence, we inform you that the present proceedings against the Respondent are hereby closed and its ban to register any new players has been permanently lifted. As such, the Football Association of Malawi is hereby requested to immediately lift the ban imposed on the Respondent at national level,” reads part of the letter seen by Wa Ganyu dated January 21, 2026.

In September last year, FIFA bans Bullets from registering players over Chitiyo saga after failure to pay Chitiyo, their former player his compensation amounting to 15 200 USD.

Bullets chief executive officer Albert Chigoga has also confirmed with Wa Ganyu that indeed Fifa has lifted the ban.
