FCB Nyasa Big Bullets has written to Dedza Dynamos asking them to explain why they had decided to sell striker Promise Kamwendo to rivals Mighty Mukuru Wanderers just after receiving money from the People’s Team.
Bullets claim that Dedza had offered the player to them and the club’s had agreed transfer terms while also agreeing with the player.
They say, just after agreeing on terms, Bullets paid the transfer fees in full which was K3 million and on top of that they also sent K400 000 for transport for the player to travel to Blantyre together with his manager.
“Can you then justify why after we paid the player’s transfer fees, you decided to sell the same player to Wanderers?” reads part of the communication.
Dedza’s chief executive officer Flera Chimango Kulemero is yet to speak to Wa Ganyu but he was quoted by other media outlets that Dedza had no powers on the decision which the player made when signing for Wanderers.
Wanderers signed Kamwendo at around 8pm yesterday when Bullets were waiting to unveil the player at around 10am the same day.
Bullets later unveiled attacking midfielder Lameck Gamphani from the same club.
