Mwachaje sotafuna! Following a dismal startin the start of the 2025 TNM Super League, Creck Sporting Club has finallysecured a point.

It follows a goalless draw against Blue Eagles at Nankhaka Stadium in Lilongwe. Creck lost their opening two games, losing to Dedza Dynamos and FCB Nyasa Big Bullets, conceding 8 goals in two games while scoring two.

Speaking after today’s match, head coach Joseph Kamwendo expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance despite not securing a win.

“The way the boys played today gives me encouragement. Even though we didn’t win, a point we’ve earned today will boost our morale heading into future matches,” said Kamwendo.

Blue Eagles FC head coach Elia Kananji said it was a balanced contest where both teams were cautious and determined.

Speaking after the match, Kananji acknowledged the challenge posed by Creck, noting that they came into the game well-prepared and eager to bounce back after two consecutive losses. “We’ve now played three matches—won one, lost one, and drawn one. It’s a decent start to the season, especially when you consider that some teams are yet to win a match. I believe we’ll continue to improve as the league progresses,” said Kananji.

The match produced Creck defender Haddy Ng’andu as player of the match.
