Civil Service 2-1 Kamuzu Barracks

Kamuzu Barracks’ dream of winning a title this season has yielded to nothing after being booted out of the Castel Cup Challenge by Civil Service United.

Civil progressed following a 2-1 victory at Civo Stadium and booked their slot in the quarterfinals where they will face giant killers Panthers FC, a Chipiku side.

Civil were the first side to score at 47 minutes through Damiano Kunje before Olson Kanjira levelled the scores at 63 minutes. 

When teams were preparing for penalty shootouts, Kunje came again to give the home team a winning goal in added time.
