Mponda and Bullets defence exposed as Creck Sporting write history

Creck Sporting Club recorded their first-ever TNM Super League victory over giants FCB Nyasa Big Bullets, securing a stunning 2–0 win at Aubrey Dimba Stadium in a match that once again exposed the champions’ defensive vulnerabilities.

The breakthrough came early in the second half when George Chaomba scored in the 55th minute, before Jackson Beza doubled the lead seven minutes later— sealing a historic result for Creck Sporting since joining the top flight in 2023.

Head coach Elijah Kananji attributed the victory to discipline and proper execution of their game plan, noting that the performance strengthens their push for a top-eight finish.

Bullets assistant coach Gilbert Chirwa admitted his side were outplayed and urged the players to work harder as the title race tightens.

Creck Sporting have now moved up to ninth place with 33 points from 25 matches, while Bullets remain top on 56 points — level with Mighty Wanderers but ahead on goal difference, with Wanderers holding a game in hand.
