Mighty Wanderers has pushed FCB Nyasa Big Bullets off the top of the TNM Super League table for the second time after a 1-0 victory over their sister club Ekhaya FC at Kamuzu Stadium today.
Wanderers is owned by Thom Mpinganjira with his son William in charge of Ekhaya FC and met today for the first time in the league which ended in favour of the dad.
Gaddie Chirwa scored the lone goal for the Nomads just five minutes into the second half after receiving the ball from Blessings Singini, he turned and shot at the edge of the penalty box into the right top corner. Watch the goal https://web.facebook.com/share/v/1aB3MJKF6s/

The victory means that Wanderers have gone top of the league table with 29 points displacing Bullets who are second with 27 points after 11 games each.
Bullets yesterday failed to collect points away to Civil Service United when they lost 2-1.
This is the second time Wanderers topped the table; on June 22 they also dislodged Bullets following their 2-0 victory over Dedza Dynamos.
Wanderers coach Bob Mpinganjira said it was exciting to get 3 points because it was a tough game while Ekhaya coach Enos Chatama conceded defeat saying they lack good forwards who can pose a threat.
In other games, defending champions Silver Strikers forced a draw in Rumphi against Moyale Barracks. The match ended 1-all with Raphael Phiri scoring for Moyale and Zebron Kalima levelled in the second half.
