Mighty Wanderers head coach Bob Mpinganjira says he is not feeling any pressure after his team was held to a goalless draw in Balaka against Creck Sporting Club in a TNM Super League match played today.

Following the draw, Wanderers have been pushed to a second position with their arch rivals FCB Nyasa Big Bullets going top with just a point from the same number of games.

Wanderers who are yet to face a defeat are second with 39 points with Bullets 40 from 17 games. Nomads have now registered their sixth draw with Bullets facing three defeats and one draw.

Speaking after the game, Mpinganjira admitted that his players missed several chances to score, which coasted them maximum points.

It was a good game, but not good enough. We didn’t play our usual style—we were flat from start to finish,” he said adding: “The league is still on. We just need to organize ourselves and bring more energy so that we perform better next time.”

He also pointed out that there were a few weak areas in his team during the game, and he plans to work on those before their upcoming matches.

On the other side, Creck Sporting Club head coach Eliah Kananji praised his players for their performance and discipline during the match.

Bullets collected maximum points over Songwe Border United at Karonga Ground with goals from Babatunde Adepoju a brace and Chikumbutso Salima. The match ended 3-1 with Kelvin Nyondo scoring a consolation goal.

Defending champions Silver Strikers are third with 36 points and have played 17 games. They collected all the points today at home over Chitipa United—thanks to a Chinsinsi Maonga lone goal.
