Wa Ganyu 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐓𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐦

We are getting a lot of questions on Peter Mponda’s move to Silver Strikers FC.
Here is the current situation:

~Mponda left South Africa and he has been in Malawi. There is no official communication from Mponda to Black Leopards if he has resigned or not.

~Some Silver Strikers officials approached Mponda to replace Pieter De Jongh and that’s why he left South Africa to finalize the move.

~It is not yet known who approached him but his name is mentioned among Silver officials.

~Silver’s Technical team had a meeting to assess the just ended season. They will submit the same to the board which will have a final say.

~For a coach to be recruited at Silver Strikers, it requires an approval from board, no one else. This means that Mponda will still wait for a decision from the board.

~As we write, Board is yet to have a meeting which was scheduled for early January.

~Get this clear from us, board ya Silver Strikers sidakumane ndipo amene akumana ndi a Technical okha.

~Also, De Jongh has a contract with Silver which means to recruit Mponda, then they will sacrifice the current coach.
