The Central Bankers have decided to maintain the name as their head coach, perhaps there is something special with the name.

In 2023 they had another Peter, Pieter De Jongh, as head coach who left at the end of the season.  

They replaced De Jongh with Peter Mponda who helped them to win the league after an 11 years of trying.

Following Mponda’s resignation on Thursday, the Bankers have maintained the name by appointing Mponda’s assistant, Peter Mgangira as the head coach.

A source from the Central Bankers has confirmed the news with Wa Ganyu. “That is what I have been told. We will have [Peter] Mgangira as our head coach,” he said.

The source said Mgangira will enjoy the same benefits which Mponda was getting which among them, a K5 million salary, a fuelled car plus Dstv.
