Shakeup at defending Champions FCB Nyasa Big Bullets following their bad patch as Precious Sambani has lost his armband.

Wa Ganyu understands that Sambani was informed just after the team’s defeat to Karonga United on Sunday.

It is clear, Sambani is disappointed and yesterday he did not attend the team’s training in Blantyre.

Our source has informed us that Gomezgani Chirwa has now taken charge and from this Sunday’s match against rivals Mighty Mukuru Wanderers in the FDH Cup, he will lead the team out as captain.

Wa Ganyu further has it that Clyde Senaji has now stepped in as vice-captain of the team.

In another shakeup, Bullets has also suspended striker Hassan Kajoke but it is not clear as to what sins he has committed.

“Yes he has been suspended and he will be out for four months,” said the source to Wa Ganyu.

The development comes after Bullets started the season poorly winning only four games out of 14 in the league.

Silver Strikers, which is coached by former Bullets captain and assistant coach, Peter Mponda, has taken charge of the league standings, opening a comfortable 16-point gap ahead of Bullets.
