“We hope that the motorbikes will transform the lives of the winners. The promotion has increased registration of customers and their participation, which in the end is achieving its objective,” said Govati.

Entry into the promotion is by depositing not less than K20 000 into one’s Bolabet account and making sure the money is used in two weeks.

Govati was speaking on Saturday during the prize presentation ceremony and official opening of Bolabet’s first-ever shop in Blantyre’s Central Business District (CBD).

Chapenga, who runs a stationery shop in Dedza, said he plans to use his motorbike for the kabaza business.

“I am very excited to win a motorbike.  I will invest it in the kabaza business, and because it’s a durable and big bike, l am expecting good business,” he said.
