Wa Ganyu
Red Arrows coach warrant officer class two Chisi Mbewe is hoping to register positive results when they play FCB Nyasa Big Bullets on Sunday in the CAF Champions League.
Mbewe has told Wa Ganyu journalist that he has done a proper background search of Bullets plus watching their games and he is confident that come Sunday they will win in Malawi.
“We have watched them play. That will surely help us to approach the game in Malawi. We have enough information about them and players they bank on,” he said.
Mbewe was speaking on Thursday morning in Zambia on how his charges have prepared ahead of the trip to Malawi.
He said he will miss the services of two players Norris and Noel who are injured but said he has good replacements.
Mbewe said his approach in Malawi is to make sure that Bullets should not score at Bingu Stadium.
“As you know our target is to qualify for group stages. So, as we are going to Malawi, we don’t want our opponent to score. I know it is a tricky fixture playing away as we do not have underdogs in football but we will fight,” he said.
The team will train in Zambia this afternoon before travelling to Malawi tomorrow.
“Team selection will be done today after the training,” he added.
