Bangwe All Stars head coach, Trevor Kajawa says more energy has been loaded in his boys as they are eyeing for more cash in their Airtel money wallet when they host Mighty Mukuru Wanderers in a second leg match in the Airtel Top 8 Cup on Saturday afternoon at Mpira Stadium.

The Bangwe based side lost 1-0 in the first leg at Kamuzu Stadium two weeks ago, and Saturday’s match provides an opportunity for them to turn the tables.

In a pre-match interview on Friday afternoon, Kajawa said they are anticipating a difficult match but emphasized that his boys are ready to wrestle with Nomads.

“It will be a difficult game, we lost at their backyard, however, we have a home ground advantage which we will have to utilise, and I believe my boys will give it all despite that we are going into the game as underdogs.

“Morale is high in the camp, cup games can go either way, who knows that we might be in the next round after beating Wanderers,” he said.

His counterpart Wanderers’ head coach Meke Mwase in an interview said his side is not scared of the current form of Bangwe which is currently gaining momentum in the super league following the arrival of Kajani who has won two league matches beating FCB Nyasa Big Bullets and Baka City.

“It’s a new game on the new day, my boys are ready for the game. We are not underrating them and everyone should know that our eyes are looking to get a ticket into the semi-final,” said Mwase.
