Only TNM/Sulom branding at the launch, Bullets and Silver told not to bring their banners, the order is that simple.
A shocking directive it is, a move that puts both home team Silver Strikers and visiting FCB Nyasa Big Bullets frustrated, Wa Ganyu can confirm.
Ahead of the tomorrow’s 2025 Super League of Malawi launch, a directive has been issued to both teams not to have perimeter branding as the space will only be given to league sponsors TNM and Sulom.
“Club sponsors can use their banners on other games other than the launch game at Bingu National Stadium,” reads the directive.
The communication which was shared yesterday also says: “Club sponsors will not be given a chance to activate outside or inside the stadium at this launch. However, they can activate in other games, just not this launch. We would like the launch to be just green.”
Our sources say both Bullets and Silver have protested the move and have challenged Sulom to change their directive as soon as possible.
Silver has Betway Malawi as their main sponsor with First Capital Bank as Bullets’ main sponsor.
This is a developing story; Wa Ganyu will keep updating you.
