The country’s CAF Confederations Cup ambassadors Mighty Wanderers have entered into a partnership with Mpira Mmudzi Mwathu (MMM), a grassroot football organisation, to handle some logistics of the upcoming home tie against Botswana side Jwaneng Galaxy FC on Sunday, September 21 at the Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe.
Through the partnership, MMM will handle the sale of all corporate box tickets as well as providing ball boys and mascots on matchday.
In an interview, Brands Marketing Manager for Wanderers Greyson Chapita said MMM’s proven track record in managing international games is what has compelled them to enter into this partnership.
“We have opted for MMM because of their well-organised structures and strong reputation in managing corporate box sales. Their proven experience gives us confidence that this partnership will deliver the best results,” said Chapita.
He added: “MMM has a track record of successfully managing corporate sales in football and has built credibility with stakeholders. Their involvement guarantees a structured, transparent and efficient process.”

According to Chapita, the Corporate Box package which is going at K300 000 for 10 people, will include exclusive seating, refreshments, dedicated service and branding opportunities, offering companies a chance to showcase their brands in front of thousands of fans and millions following the game through media coverage.
“We are therefore calling on the corporate world to come on board and be part of this historic moment, where business meets football and passion blends with prestige,” added Chapita.
Reacting to the partnership, MMM manager Linda Kasenda said the partnership is a testimony of the trust that their brand has built with the football sector in the country.
“This partnership is a clear demonstration that we are a trusted stakeholder in the football sector. We have done this before with FCB Nyasa Big Bullets when they competed in the CAF Champions League, so to see Wanderers coming on board, shows that our past experience is speaking for us,” said Kasenda.
This is not the first time that MMM has been trusted with the responsibility of managing corporate box tickets. In 2023 and 2024 it also handled corporate box ticket sales for Bullets’ CAF Champions League matches as well as other games involving the Malawi Men’s Senior National team.
